Clip Hold has the feature to send notifications based on the status of the clipboard monitoring.

Notifications are sent at the following events.

• When clipboard monitoring is paused
• When clipboard monitoring is resumed
• When an app is launched while clipboard monitoring is paused
• When a test notification is sent from the settings
• When history file upgrade succeeds or fails
• When switching presets with keyboard shortcuts

Of these, only the notifications that is sent “When an app is launched while clipboard monitoring is paused” and “When history file upgrade is suceeds or fails” will play sound.
Also, in the former case, there is a “Resume” button in the notification panel, where you can quickly resume the clipboard monitoring by clicking on it. In the latter case, only in the notification panel for failed upgrades, there is a “Show Document...” button and you can click it to open the Documentation page on how to manually upgrade history file.
